MBC2 formerly Channel 2, is a free-to-air 24-hour movie channel owned by the MBC Group. The channel started to broadcast as a satellite TV channel since 2002. During its debut, it broadcasted movies and television programmes subtitled in Arabic, but after the launch of MBC 4 the channel became specialised in movies only.
The channel mostly broadcasts American Hollywood movies but it also seldom features British, Canadian, French, Indian, Chinese and other foreign filmsMBC2 . MBC 2 has managed to negotiate long-term deals with the top Hollywood studios, securing first-run right and ensuring a steady flow of the top box-office movies.
MBC2 will soon broadcast Bollywood movies. It has secured a deal to show 32 Indian movies after its initial broadcast of Jodhaa Akbar, which was a huge success and was appreciated by the public as well as the advertisers MBC2 This, however, ended up on MBC Max instead, to make due with tying-in the Bollywood films as part of the dubbed films package so that these films can be watched by the Arab audience as well.
The channel largely targets the Arabic audience, especially young adults, and it manages to have an important popularity among Arab viewers.

Fox Movie Channel
Movie content consists mainly of selections from 20th Century Fox's library of releases through the 1990s and movies produced exclusively for television. Widescreen versions are shown whenever available. Typically, older movies air during the daytime; more recent films, in the evening prime time. Other programming consists mainly of commentaries about the featured films.
The channel, originally titled "Fox Movie Studio" during the planning stages was launched on October 31, 1994 as fXM: Movies from Fox The current name became official on March 1, 2000. Its primary competitors are Time Warner's Turner Classic Movies, Metro Goldwyn Mayer's MGM HD, Sony Pictures Entertainment's Sony Movie Channel, NBC Universal's Universal HD and Viacom's Epix, each of which likewise features films from its respective owner's inventory.
The Fox Movie Channel is available as Fox Movies in the Arab World, where it is not commercial-free, and often broadcasts partially censored or cut material.

روتانا سينما هي قناة تابعة لشركة روتانا تفوم ببث أفلام أو برامج سينيمائية على مدار اليوم.
بداية القناة
قناة سعودية يرأسها الأمير السعودي الوليد بن طلال افتتحت روتانا سينما في عام 2005 وقد انتشرت شهرتها بسرعة غير عادية، فأصبحت أشهر قنوات روتانا وتقوم هذه القناة بعرض الأفلام العربية القديمة والحديثة وتقوم أيضاَ بعرض برنامج النشرة الفنية الذي يناقش ويعرض أبرز الافلام الحديثة.
اعترض بعض الشيوخ السعوديين وغير السعوديين على لقطات كثيرة من افلام تعرض على (روتانا سينما) وقد تمت استجابة _غير واضحة- قد يلحظها بعض الناس في مقاطع محذوفة من بعض الأفلام التي تعرض على القناة.
اتخذت روتانا سينما شعار قد علق في أذهان الكثير من الناس وهو الكرة الخضراء التي تحوي حرف الراء داخلها؛ وهناك شعار قد وضعته د.هالة سرحان المذيعة بنفس القناة وهو (روتانا سينما...مش هتقدر تغمض عينيك).

Colors, known as Aapka Colors in the US, is a Hindi language Indian general entertainment channel based in Mumbai Colors part of the Viacom Colors The channel got a huge popularity just after its launch with Khatron Ka Khiladi: Fear Factor with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and due to its successful ratings, it received a 2nd position among other Hindi general entertainment channels for a little while, such as Zee TV, Sony TV, STAR Plus, and Sahara One.
